Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA)-July 2005

In accordance with the federal Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA) Section 302 and the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) regulations, public employees may be required to report to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and to the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) the presence of certain Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS) if they are stored at or above certain Threshold Planning Quantities (TPQ).
