Revised PEOSH Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Standard – September 2007
The PEOSH Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Standard, N.J.A.C. 12:100-13, was recently revised with an effective date of May 21, 2007.
The significant changes are:
*The designated person is the person who has been trained and given the responsibility by the Employer to make routine visual inspections, oversee preventive maintenance programs, and maintain required records in order to ensure compliance with the IAQ Standard. The designated person is also assigned to receive employee concerns/complaints about indoor air quality, conduct investigations, facilitate repairs or further investigation as necessary, maintain required records, and update the written program annually.
